The MCOI community took part in the 61st Fira del Llibre de València through Stories of the Mediterranean, a collaborative outdoor exhibition organised together with APIV featuring both Maltese and Valencian illustrators. The visit created opportunities for MCOI to connect with publishers, authors, illustrators, and cultural organisations, while opening conversations around book festivals, reading culture, illustration initiatives, and possible future collaborations between Malta and Valencia.

The MCOI was represented during the visit by Ruth Ancilleri and Celine Portelli attended on behalf of the National Book Council. The collaboration was coordinated with the support of MCOI co-founder and Valencia-based Steven Scicluna and Águeda Forés, who welcomed and guided the Maltese delegation throughout the visit.
